I fell in love with this song when I first heard it. For those, like me, that never slowed down enough to understand all of the lyrics...

Hollywood Does Dallas

I'm giving the big finger to Mex-Squite this Saturday Jan 3rd. I've got a few people committed to help me move some boxes and furniture...but would love all the help I could get. I'm hoping to get this all done in one trip. I'll provide beer. Looking to start at 10am. Thanks for everything y'all.

Santa's Lost Reindeer

Twas the night after Christmas and all through the garage not a creature was stirring, not even a Buell powered by a hawg.

When up on the roof came quite a noise... A twin from Italy, and boy was it annoyed. Pissed, actually.

My wife is the most understanding woman in the world... How on earth does a pregnant woman agree to let her unemployed husband buy something like this? It must be because I convinced her we could strap the baby seat to the rear cowling... Or that it was such a good deal that I just couldn't pass it up. Tell your friends, tell your friend's friends, slippery has a 2003 Ducati 999 that has under 6000 miles on it with your name on it. It books for $9400, no resonable offers will be refused. Baby needs new shoes.

In the mean time... I wonder how fast this little beast is?

I bet it does huge wheelies. Saving that rubber on the front tire really sounds like the most responsible thing to do.

And I am all about being responsible. Seriously. Yep. Responsible.

New Ulm

Does anybody know for sure when is New Ulm? I'm going to take thursday and friday off work so I need to give those days a few months in advance.

East Texas ride

The ride to Brian's house was cold and windy but it was a good ride. I was proud of myself for riding with the guys and not being left behind trying to catch up with them. I rode back with Angie (Andres' wife) with my bike on the back of the truck because I got really sick (asthma). It was sad to see the reflection of my bonnie on the window but I was glad to be in the car while the guys were fighting the wind all the way home. We had a great time !

Weekend Ride

I think it's high time we take to the road! I would like to put together a long ride (200+) for this weekend. The new shirts are here and need to be broken in. What day works better for everyone...Saturday or Sunday??? We'll meet somewhere for breakfast...then take to the road for a day of riding...Chime in suckas!

New Years Drink-a-thon

Hate to go out on New Years and drop $30 to stand in a bar that's free every other night? Thinking about just staying home because of all the idiots that only drink once a year puking on your shoes?

It's a hooligan holiday. This will be the third year of this trainwreck.

This is an event that I bring all my motorcycle friends from all over the country to drink keg beer and burn things in my backyard. There will be throwing up (hopefully not on your shoes) and passing out.

Shirts should be in by the end of the week. I will post updates, but email me with your size request. More importantly, you have been sent permission to post on the blog. With this invitation, certain responsibilities are being bestowed upon you. Simple rules apply...keep it clean-ish. The occasional nipple slippage is customary, but full on gynecological shots are a little out of the scope of what we are about. The Hooligan Po-Po's will be watching, so be cool.

That being said, this is your site. The direction I see this going is a blog about rides and reports, events, beer drinkin', chic watchin', and basic Hooliganism. Try to keep the initial post as short as possible. You can always add comments if you have a bunch to talk about.

Hello Hooligans!!! We are thinking of pinning down one bar that we can call our own. A place that can be a base of operations...somewhere that we can go...on a regular basis...to start or end our evenings. After a few weeks, we intend to approach the management for some type of a "Hooligan Happy Hour Special" or something like it. A few places that have been suggested are:

Stonleigh P
Lee Harveys

Any and all suggestions should be brought forth...the goal is to make ourselves visable...and to give those who may want to join us a place to track us down. It's also...of course...a way to try to procure cheap beer! Let's find a spot that will have safe parking for us...and that will cater to us. This Wednesday...let's begin at the Libertine for libations and discussion. Drinks up at 7pm. See you all there!

Happy Thanksgiving

I just wanted to take the opportunity to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving. Many of you may not know that it was only 9 years ago that I was homeless. I was living in Colorado and had broken up with my girlfriend of six years. She took everything when she left, except the bills. I was forced to ask a friend if I could live in his basement. I had a borrowed bed, enough clothes to fill a suitcase and my truck. I lived like that for six months. After ending up in the hospital with walking pneumonia, I broke down a called my parents. I was broke and broken down. I moved back to Houston and 2 months later, I met my wife. Fast forward to November 27, 2008. I am sitting in my living room, the love of my life just made us animal shaped waffles, my three yr.old is measuring my toes with his play tape measure, and my seven month old is trying to divert my attention, from this to her, by kicking my leg.

This year, no matter what is going on in our lives, remember that things could always be worse. Give thanks to God for family and friends. In the end...we're all we've got.
